My number one tip for hiking with kids is bring snacks. Bring ALL of the snacks! They are great to help motivate kids especially when they are tired. I try to bring some that are different to keep it fun and exciting. I also bring snacks that help boost energy. Â

-Chips
-Squeezers (applesauce or other fruit)
-Fruit snacks
-Juice boxes or pouches
-Homemade protein balls
-Fresh fruit
